New digs!

Paintings of downtown North Adams are right at home!

We love our loft, but couldn't turn down the opportunity to move the art gallery this summer to historic Eagle Street in downtown North Adams.  We'll be keeping the loft for art classes, life drawing sessions, and of course, our own nefarious art-making purposes.  However, having our art gallery downtown will enable us to participate more fully in all the nifty seasonal goings-on in North Adams, including the Berkshire Food Festival, Downstreet Art, and the Eagle Street Beach Party. It's a great time to see art in the Berkshires. Please visit us at 40 Eagle Street, just a short walk from Mass MoCA!

"Re/Imaging New York"

July 31-September 6
Opening: July 31, 3-7pm
New York City has long been a rich source of inspiration for artists, but as artists move their homes and studios deeper into the outer boroughs, representations of the City as subject also changes. Years from now, will the soaring train trestles of South Brooklyn and the neon billboard jumble of Queens appear as iconic as the Manhattan skyline?  Featuring Eric March, Jaye Fox, Thor Wickstrom, and other artists to be named.

Opening Friday and Saturday night!

February 12 to March 14:  "The Snow Show", Featuring works either relating to, or in direct defiance of, the season at hand.

Opening reception:  Saturday, February 13, 6-9pm.
(Note: if you're headed to the Clark reception that same evening, stop by afterwards! We'll still be here!)

Hours:
Sat.-Sun. (plus Presidents Day, Mon. 2/15) noon-4pm,
Friday evening cocktail hours, 6-9pm

A couple of us went out painting on the lawn this summer! Here's some of the results (they'll be at the show, of course)

jaye fox and thor wickstrom have been working at the dump since April, in front of city waste management under the kosciuszko bridge in brooklyn.
some of these paintings have sold, but some of our favorites are still with us, and will hang at the exhibit.
