Winter Break!

With the end of "The Model is Closing", we're on winter break!   We're working on our 2011 gallery schedule, and look forward to posting it in early January.  In the meantime, the gallery is still open by appointment...just give us a call or drop us a line.  We have a mix of paintings on display, from the last show, our inventory of Berkshire landscapes, and some other great stuff.  We'd love to see you, so please drop by whenever sipping cognac by the fire gets too tiresome!

Fun feature in Berkshires Now!

Our pals, Steve Gabe and Anne Paule Picker run this excellent website, Berkshires Now, which mostly features their totally fun take on Berkshires restaurant reviews.  But occasionally, they stray from their main mission and give their readers a heads up about other cultural goings-on.  They talk about studio21south  in this article about the Berkshire art and gallery scene.  Somewhere on their website, we hear there's also a video of Thor and Jaye, co-directors of studio21south, chatting about restaurant recommendations.  But you'll have to find that yourself!
That's Steve and Anne on the right, at the opening reception for ''The Model is Posing'', along with some friends.

In our main gallery, our contemporary figure show, "The Model is Posing" is on view, and there's landscapes, interiors, and more on view in the hall gallery.

How time flies.  We've been the Berkshires' northernmost art gallery for a whole year now!  It's been a blast putting together these exhibits, and sharing the work of our amazing contemporary realist and abstract artists with all of you. And, what better way to celebrate than with another opening!  Come by today for the opening of our fifth show, "The Model is Posing", 3-7pm!
